Our client is searching for a Portal Manager to be the primary contact for portal content of the company website. This person needs to be responsible and accountable for all published content and ensure editorial consistency is met.
They should implement and police a strict content control procedure and be responsive to the requests of the business with clear communications of the progress of requested changes. This Content Manager should document change requests and archive processed requests for reference.
In addition this person will also proactively look for ways to optimize the site in terms of navigation and usability. Preparing recommendations for improvements and manage the projects through to publication.
Candidate profile:
This role will require someone with proven editorial and project management skills. The person needs to have excellent attention to detail and good organizational and communication skills. They should also understand the projects which are being developed by various business units and work directly with the channel managers within the departments to accommodate the products within the portal.
The individual will be joining a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment so they need to be flexible with lots of enthusiasm.
Required skills/ attributes:
· Good organisational and communication skill
· Proven editorial/copywriting and project management skills
· Strong IT skills
· Team player
· Excellent attention to detail
· Knowledge of online gaming
· Strong technical proficiency
The person must be able to learn in-house tools quickly and demonstrate a high level of flexibility and commitment, together with a passion for the internet and gaming industry.
