Our client is searching for a Portfolio Administrator whose key responsibilities will be
Producing client portfolio performance reports, which includes comparing and collating underlying hedge fund NAVs, calculating assets and liabilities, checking cash balances, calculating profit/losses of forward foreign exchanges and calculating monthly performance figures.
Updating information system with portfolio trades and account movements.
Preparing investment directives and instructions and sending instructions to custodians.
Liaising with custodians and administrators to ensure settlement of deals and resolving queries.
Preparing portfolio currency hedging
Dealing with queries and requests from clients and group.
Preparing various reports for both Gibraltar and group.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the finance sector, and possess strong numerical skills.. Applicants without experience but educated to degree level who are keen to start a career in portfolio administration will also be considered.
Salary commensurate with experience but circa £23k
