| Operations and Process Analyst - Gibraltar |
Our client is searching for an Operations and Process Analyst to report to the Delivery Team Lead. The Operational and Process Analyst position is responsible for the provision and continuous improvement of Operational/Support/Change/Configuration process and procedures, Departmental reporting (operations, change, and support), and analysis of operational requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in Validating processes against current work practices and ensure documentation is fully up to date and complete to facilitate efficient operation, support, change, and configuration management. Designs, develops, and proofs documentation.
• Assist in Developing, maintaining and optimizing detailed work instructions to ensure clarity and consistency of approach (for use by servicedesk, support, and delivery teams).
• Developing and delivering process / procedures to assist Incident and Problem Management
• Interview team members to elicit key information about processes and procedures to ensure documentation is kept up to date.
• Write or draft technical reports to support the smooth running of the department. Review and edit technical writing by other team members to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Perform research activities by utilizing computer software to obtain and manipulate data. Review and coordinate the preparation of reports, papers, and presentations to facilitate management meetings and decision making.
• Effectively operate as a team member, and as an individual. Strong logic, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Works with Delivery Team Lead in ensuring Documentation CI’s are current and relevant.
• May be required to work out of regular work hours.
• Performs other tasks and duties as and when directed by the IT Process Manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
• ITIL foundation certified
• Documentation writing experience.
• Operational reporting
• Excel and Crystal Reporting Proficiency
• Documentation training
• Process and Procedures Experience
Desirable
• ITSM Manager Service Support / Service Delivery
• Prince2 Foundation
• Change release management experience
• Testing experience
• Foundation Software testing
• Analysis and Decision Making Certification Professional.
• Documentation / process writing skills
• ITIL practitioner certified (any)
