| Senior Accountant |
Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant to provide accounting and management support to the financial controller and day to day supervision of the Accounts Department. You will also work on the complete reinsurance accounting controls and reporting, prepare returns required by regulatory agencies and establish and monitor standards to ensure compliance with regulatory and other operational requirements. Produce reports and analysis of statistical data for management information, maintain credit, claims, premiums and cash control standards and monitor for conformance and produce draft financial statements. Assist in the completion of reports and other data for tax reporting purposes, in the day to day management of the accounts team and in the production of accurate and timely management accounts.
You will be newly qualified or working towards a recognized accounting designation (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with previous experience in a management accounting role and or knowledge of insurance and financial services. Previous experience or training in a staff management role an advantage.
Salary is circa £35k
