 Delivery Team Lead
Our client is searching for a Delivery Team Lead to report to the: Group IT Production Manager. You will manage the operational IT processes outside production support functions, such as configuration management, user acceptance testing coordination, change and release management, and operational analysis and reporting

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with IT, business, and external entities in order to ensure effective change and configuration management
• Coordinate the establishment and maintain the change advisory board
• Coordinate the implementation/continuous improvement of effective change/release management processes (including resource acquisition and management as appropriate and approved by senior management)
• Coordinate the implementation/continuous improvement of effective user acceptance testing management processes (including resource acquisition and management as appropriate and approved by senior management)
• Coordinate the implementation/continuous improvement of effective configuration management processes (including resource acquisition and management as appropriate and approved by senior management)
• Coordinate the implementation/continuous improvement of an effective CMDB
• Coordinate the implementation/continuous improvement of effective operational analysis and reporting processes
• Produce and distribute management reports
• Take responsibility for development of staff

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential
• ITIL practitioner certified in release & control
• Strong vendor management skills essential
• 5+ years experience of managing IT change/configuration teams
• Project Management experience
• Testing experience
• Foundation Software testing

Desirable
• ITIL practitioner certified in support & restore
• ITIL practitioner certified in problem management
• ITIL practitioner certified in service level management
• Prince2 certification
• Proficient in SQL querying/reporting

• Advanced working knowledge of word processor, pc database, and spreadsheet packages

Salary is £55k - £65k plus package
