RecruitGibraltar are currently helping our client who is a market leading egaming company who has a great opportunity for a Website/Portal Product Manager to join this high performance team based in Gibraltar (Southern Spain). The company is a progressive and ambitious company who has a policy of promoting from within and has a dedication to professional training and progression.

Role Purpose

We are looking to recruit an experienced Website/Portal Product Manager to manage a high quality roadmap of development improvements to our front end user interfaces (web and mobile). The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a roadmap of commercially prioritised business requirements to ensure we deliver a truly world class customer experience through both online and mobile.

? Working closely with our third party technology partners, you will provide agile leadership in the commercial development and effective delivery of our prioritised portal roadmaps.
? This role is responsible for working with business leads to gather and translating high level requirements into a commercially prioritised roadmap of deliverables.
? The role holder will also work closely with our marketing teams to ensure all user journeys are understood and optimised (where appropriate).
? There will also be regular customer surveys and focus groups that will drive out improvement items to be considered for development.
? Having a deep knowledge of website and mobile technologies, including those deployed by leading operators within the online gaming industry, is essential to ensuring that we maintain a best in class portal and the role holder will be expected to conduct regular competitor and industry reviews.
? As well as prioritising items for a team of developers, you will also be responsible for capturing and translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring best-in-class improvements through effective management and QA.

? Co-ordinate the delivery of these prioritised roadmap items through an outsourced solution of project management and developers working primarily in JDE (Liferay) and HTML5;
? Understand and define QA procedures during build and prior to UAT to enable fast-paced and regular deployments;
? Provide effective and detailed release notes and define scope for UAT
? Define new technologies and participate in strategic planning consulting with the business development team;
? Define, schedule and execute formal review meetings;
? Provide regular reporting and analytics to ensure stakeholders and the management team understand the status of tactical and strategic developments;
? Support the financial targets of the business
? Manage and control the operational costs

Knowledge & Experience

? Previous experience of managing the commercial optimisation and value of website/portal products
? A strong history of QA, UAT and Agile project management
? Experience of writing detailed business requirements for technical and non-technical audiences
? A detailed understanding of user interface design and underlying web technologies
? Demonstrable experience of high volume, transactional websites and the infrastructure required to support it;
? Experience of managing a team of developers within a high change, highly matrixed business or channel where active prioritisation is required at all times
? Online experience essential ideally gained within the online gaming industry
? Ability to work effectively as part of both small teams and larger formal groups
? Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple streams of work and prioritise accordingly
? Exposure to and experience with release management and the software development lifecycle

Salary ?35,000 to ?42,000 based on experience with an excellent relocation package and private healthcare.
