Our client who are a leading online games provider is searching for an IT technology manager to be responsible for managing and maintaining hardware and software, and provide local and regional support as part of a global team.
Responsibilities
? Local responsibility for core technology services:
o Client Services
Build and manage helpdesk team
Provide local bridge facilitation during escalated production incidents
Ensure repeat incidents are realized as problems and brought to the attention of the Problem Management team
o Infrastructure Services
Build and manage infrastructure team
Provision standard laptop- and desktop-builds
Manage global Active Directory for firm
Manage single point of contact for firm?s telecoms needs
Manage and maintain gaming Infrastructure
Accountable for global email infrastructure
Liaise with Release Management to minimize risk to core business services during deployment
o Information Services
Manage local procurement processes
Maintain global information systems such as JIRA, Wiki, Sharepoint
? Work closely with CTO to ensure Technology Service Catalogue is kept up to date and in tune with the demands of the firm
? Continuously assess and refactor operating processes as gaps are realized
