Our client a leading online brand is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to provide support to the management accountants. To help in the timely and accurate preparation of the periodic management accounts, and any other duties that may be required.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Setting up monthly management accounts reporting spreadsheets for the Management Accountants
Helping with checks in order to ensure to produce accurate management accounts
Ensure good knowledge of working knowledge of the commercial trends impacting the business in order to understand revenue and cost variances
Help in ensuring all internal customers are dealt with efficiently and promptly
Help in the preparation of Management Information Packs
Assisting with the control of balance sheets, ensuring all reconciliations are undertaken each period
Maintaining cash flow spreadsheets
Helping to provide accurate cost analysis for the company budgeting, business planning and forecasting
Any ad hoc duties given by the Management Accountants
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviour
Part qualified with previous experience in assistant management accounting
Good technical skills
Strong Excel skills
Good written communications skills
Experience in using reporting tools is desirable
Experience of budgeting, planning and forecasting processes
Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Salary is 25k - 35k
