Our client is searching for a Head of Poker and Gaming to be responsible for the following -
? Responsible for the development and delivery of the commercial and operational strategy for the poker and gaming products
? Responsible for developing and delivering against Budget and Forecast measures including turnover, gross win, operational costs, MPI, gross profit and EBITDA (with the Product Director)
? Management of the P&L performance of the appropriate products and reporting on that performance on a weekly and periodic basis with a high degree of insight/analysis, with clear action planning to deliver change
? Work closely with senior stakeholders within Playtech/IMS/GTS to manage the product and customer offer for gaming and poker
? Directly manage a small team of professionals and work closely with other internal teams and 3rd parties to deliver the required business goals
? Develop a positive team culture that delivers the required outputs and profitability from our gaming and poker products
? Daily/weekly management of poker and gaming operations including service uptime, customer promotions, content management, liaison with Customer Management, resolution of customer and site issues, reporting/MIS
? Responsible for defining the promotional strategy for gaming and poker product areas and working with marketing teams to develop and brief appropriate communications and campaigns
? Manage key external stakeholder relationships at a strategic or account director level (including negotiation, target setting, KPI definition and management, cost management)
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviour
? 3-5 years of experience working at a senior level within an online gaming business
? Held role as department head within a successful Internet business for at least 2 years (or equivalent)
? Extensive Gaming industry experience required with the ability to adapt it internationally
? Experience of managing a P&L within a matrixed organisation essential
? Strong customer and financial analytical skills and the ability to leverage them effectively
? Strong project management skills
? Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and third party service providers
? Strong customer ethos and the ability to channel insight into profitable deliverables
? Experience of effectively managing and developing people
? Strong project management skills
? Demonstrable track record of achieving set targets from online gaming products
? Excellent knowledge on domestic and international poker products and services
