IT Project Manager
Our client is searching for an IT Project Manager to be responsible for all aspects of projects assigned to you from initiation through to delivery. Reporting to the Project Board (as defined individually on a project by project basis) you will manage projects on a day-to-day basis within the constraints laid down by the Project Board.
You will plan and monitor the project producing a Project Initiation Document, managing risks & issues, contingency plans and other associated documentation. You will liaise with program management & other Project managers if the project is part of a larger program. You will take full responsibility for creation of all change control documentation in conjunction with others and any required configuration management. Prepare and report to the Project Board through highlight Reports, End Stage Reports, lessons learned report, action recommendations and Project close report. Liaise with and manage any 3rd party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of their work packages.
You will have
2 years+ experience in an IT Project Management role
Minimum qualification of PRINCE2 or equivalent (APM).
Ideally have knowledge of Agile project management techniques.
Experience in IT Integration or software development projects in the last 5 years.
Ability to manage your own workload and influence the work load others
The ability to lead virtual teams
Excellent organisational skills
Sound communication skills
Extensive project management experience
Salary up to 40k
