Our client is looking for an IT Operator / Systems Admin (Windows and Apple Mac) to support and enable business change and be responsible for ensuring the service levels and business operational needs are met 24 x 7, 365 days of the year.
Other areas of responsibility:
• To perform the day to day operational activities - Hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting etc
• Co-ordinate service desk activities out of hours.
• To provide remote hands on support for the business.
• To ensure the physical and logial security of the office.
• Managing of servers and services.
• Managing network and firewalls.
• IT stock control.
• Maintenance of telephony system.
3+ years experience in Windows administration and Apple Mac SysAdmin are essential. Knowledge of backup and restore techniques and technologies, Firewalls, Unix, ITIL processes, active and passive networks. You will also be expected to work shifts and have a MCSE certificate.
