Our client is searching for an experienced Webmaster to work on the following responsibilities:
* To take responsibility for all company websites and online customer interfaces.
* Manage and retain an effective team of web designers and editors
* Implement and utilise web analytics in order to drive informed decision making.
* Monitor and address website problems and take steps to resolve.
* Ensure website compatibility with industry standard range of internet browsers.
* Implement and manage brand guidelines and web standards.
* Devise methods of understanding how customers interact with the website in order to continually improve customer experience.
* Ensure websites are optimised for top level search engine performance.
* Undertake regular website reviews and recommend improvements.
* Undertake usability testing and use results to drive improvements.
* Act as project sponsor and sign-off projects directly affecting the websites and their performance.
* Provide accurate and efficient reports of website usage.
* Work with marketing teams to assist and ensure proposed initiatives are maximised for revenue and minimised for risk.
* Identify new opportunities for web development and present these to the board for approval.
* Ensure all imagery, content, and newly released items conform to defined brand guidelines and web standards.
* Undertake long-term planning of website development.
* Assess competing websites and ensure the brand remains competitive in terms of website content, functionality, look, feel and innovations.
* Manage the acquisition and ongoing maintenance of the organisation's domain names with the appropriate registrars.
* Track and evaluate new standards, technologies and trends in website development, design, and delivery.
* Devise and implement procedures for live changes to the websites.
