Senior Management Accountant (Insurance)
Our client is searching for a Senior Management Accountant (Insurance) for an established Insurance Company based in Gibraltar.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-
• Be able to provide a professional accounting service as required in such an important role
• Be able to present accurate accounting information to clients and Company Directors
• Produce accurate management accounts and statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IAS as appropriate
• Be able to work as part of the Accounting and Insurance Teams
• Contribute to and develop existing accounting procedures
• Contribute to and develop the team, its functions and supervise junior staff
• Be ACCA qualified or have at least 5 years experience in a Financial Accounting role
• Excellent communication skills and must be confident to attend and present in board meetings
• Excellent level of ability on Excel spreadsheets for preparing Business plans
• Liaise with auditors as and when required for accounting reviews
Salary is 35k – 40k depending on experience
