Canadian Sportsbook Site Manager
Our client is searching for an Canadian Sportsbook Site Manager who will primarily be responsible for scheduling, administering and maintaining all dynamic and static content on the Company’s Canadian sportsbook and its various sub-domains and mini-sites.
The post holder will also be responsible for working with the online marketing team, sportsbook operational team, design & development resource and the CRM manager to ensure that the sportsbook is attracting and retaining the maximum amount of active customers, meeting core business targets and raising brand awareness within Ireland.
Accountabilities and tasks
· The publication of all dynamic editorial content to the Canadian sportsbook, ensuring the relevant tone of voice for an Canadian audience.
· The monitoring and checking of the sportsbook to ensure sporting events and sports betting markets are correctly displayed and prioritised as per the customer demand.
· Work with the egaming product managers to ensure that all egaming cross sell is undertaken efficiently.
· Provide prioritised sporting calendars that will guide all CRM and acquisition marketing campaigns for Canadian sports betting customers.
· As the point of contact for site issues, the Site Manager is expected to check and test that all customer facing products, marketing campaigns and applications are working to specification and that the appropriate support is being provided by the operations teams.
· Proactively develop the customer offering for the sportsbook (and egaming), proposing business and product development initiatives that will increase the core business metrics.
· Source, collate, present and analyse data relating to competitor activity in the Canadian sports betting community.
Skills & Experience
· Relevant experience for another online betting/sports focused company preferable.
· Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to write intelligent and engaging sports betting content.
· Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of online marketing
· Local market / country knowledge and customer betting patterns
· Well developed knowledge and experience of betting products and the trading markets they operate in to deliver profit.
· Previous experience of using CMS tools.
· A keen interest in sports and gaming and flexible to work 5 out of 7 days a week and weekends or evenings where necessary.
