Senior Management Accountant
Our client is searching for a Senior Management Accountant to join this existing team and support the FD.
Role Description
• Draft monthly management accounts production for all brands within a pre-set deadline.
• Managing workload of Finance Assistant and accounts team.
• Production of timely monthly reports to board level
• Full responsibility for transactions recorded within the Sage MMS accounting software.
• Ensure payments by cheque/wire transfer are promptly paid.
• Monitoring of foreign currency bank account levels, advising FD of balances held.
• Strategic management of working capital
• Maintenance of fixed asset registers, highlighting expenses for capitalisation.
• Production of year-end audit file and liaison with external auditors.
Candidate Profile
• CIMA / ACCA part or fully qualified with similar experience
• Knowledge of SAGE MMS accounting software
• Strong excel skills and experience of cash reconciliations
• Technically sound, with specific attention to detail
• Articulate, confident and credible, with the ability to manage small team and to communicate financially with senior management and the board
Ideally you will be locally based or have set relocation plans to move in the next 3 weeks
Salary circa £35k p.a. + bonus
