| Junior IT Technician |
Our client is searching for a Junior IT Technician to provide support to the IT manager in this professional company in Gibraltar. You will have a passion for computers and some basic experience in an IT role. You will be educated to a minimum of A’ Level standard but ideally degree educated, and be keen to start on the road to becoming an IT technician. Full training will be given to the candidate who can illustrate that they are hard working, dedicated, trustworthy, professional and keen to learn.
You will ideally have experience in the following:
 PC and Laptop main problematic issues such as diagnosing simple user issues on office suite and XP
 Networks - support, connectivity issue analysis and upgrades.
 Website creation and maintenance.
 Server backups.
 Management of renewal / replacement of hardware and software.
 PC service packs, virus definitions, and security patches.
 Reporting of email monitoring tools, in relation to incoming spam, outgoing and incoming inappropriate emails, and virus scanning engine update definitions.
