Purchase Ledger Clerk
Our client is searching for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage the Purchase order processing, Purchase ledger and invoice filing function of the business. The role also includes the reconciliation of multi currency bank accounts and Client deposit and payment processing within the back office.
Duties include:
Invoice and credit note processing – all major currencies
Preparing payment runs, obtaining authorisations.
Payment allocations.
Payment processing. Bank Transfers and Cheques.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Multi currency bank reconciliations.
Answering queries re invoices, payments and credit notes.
Petty cash reconciliations.
Journal posting.
Allocation of payments received to customer accounts.
Assistance with end of month routines.
Role Requirements:
Experience of Sage 200
Experience of multi currency processing
Experience of Sage Purchase order system .
Experience of online banking systems
Ability to multi task and prioritise work
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Strong numerical skills
You will live locally.
Salary is 16k - 19k depending on experience
