| Assistant Financial Controller |
Our client is searching for an Assistant Financial Controller to ensure accurate and compliant external financial reporting while enforcing effective balance sheet and treasury controls. The main responsibilities are below:
 Monitor and review balance sheet control accounts to ensure proper accounting controls are being applied across all jurisdictions.
 Management of client balance, cash and e-wallet movement and net revenue process control, particularly in relation to the Playtech admin controlled brands
 Management and review of the marketing expense payment process including affiliate and campaign expenses
 Control of the payment of key contracts as required, ensuring amounts are properly paid.
 Individual statutory accounts preparation and review as appropriate (6 trading statutory entities)
 Preparation of timely and accurate consolidated quarterly statements to support shareholder distributions in accordance with the JV framework agreement
 Management of cash across the organisation to ensure good cash forecasting, ensuring entities have adequate resources while maximising interest returns and minimising exchange losses
 Ensuring that accounts are prepared in accordance with IFRS and appropriate accounting standards
 Support of the planning and management accounts function as required;
 Ad hoc projects as required.
You will be a qualified accountant with the knowledge to prepare consolidated and statutory accounts. Some experience of cash management across international jurisdictions would be advantageous.
Good communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills, with an ability to manage internal and external relationships up to senior levels of management is essential as is a good working knowledge of excel, Microsoft office and computerised accounting packages.
