| IT Manager - Gibraltar |
Our client is searching for an IT Manager with recent and relevant experience to initially work on a 2 month contract with the view of making the role permanent. This position requires an initial evaluation and co-ordination of the information and technology systems for the group and to provide strategic, tactical planning and development.
Principal accountabilities are as follows:
• Reviewing, advising on upgrading and improvement of and maintaining the existing network and electronic mail communications systems.
• Ensuring compatibility between all offices in terms of all software (word processing, data base, virus, etc).
• Adjusting and adapting the systems with a view to enabling optimum electronic mail communications between companies, internally between staff and with clients.
• Liaising with local support service providers in remote jurisdictions, and monitoring IT system performance, and backups to ensure service levels are being met.
The IT Manager should have a good working knowledge of the following:
• TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, NAT
• Desktop support for Microsoft Windows XP and Office
• Server support for Microsoft Windows Server 2000 and 2003, Exchange Server 2000 and 2003
• Some experience with CRM systems would be an advantage
