| Tax Planner-Gibraltar |
Our client is searching for an International Tax Planner to undertake international corporate (and personal) tax planning and structuring for clients undertaking the necessary research and, where appropriate, liaising with other professionals and intermediaries. This would include, but not be limited to, advising on withholding taxes, transfer pricing, profit extraction, anti avoidance matters (e.g. Controlled Foreign Companies), place of residence, management and control, creation of taxable presence, EU Directive & Double Tax Treaty use and undertaking due diligences. To become an expert on all aspects of Gibraltar taxation and apply these features in the area of international taxation and, occasionally, locally. To ensure correct implementation and monitoring of advice provided for existing and new clients working with directors and staff of other Group companies. Ensuring that any tax compliance matters arising from advice are dealt with. To develop areas of personal expertise which are complimentary to the objectives of the company.
To assist, where required, with special projects that do not fall naturally into the scope of any other company. To manage and develop your own portfolio of clients. To help compile a source of international tax planning ideas, solutions and products for companies relevant for the jurisdictions within which the Group operates, and then to be responsible for keeping them up to date, working with all members of the Advisory team to ensure that any new idea is promoted, or any legislation change that makes the idea redundant is removed. To be involved in the marketing of the company to include, but not limited to, website contributions, articles, propriety research and the development of relationships with existing and new professional intermediaries. To ensure that your own technical knowledge is adequate to ensure your reasonable development in the area of international taxation.
