| Oracle Database Administration - Gibraltar |
Our client requires an Oracle DBA to be primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining the production databases (9i and 10g) and development environments (9i, 10g, 11g) on a variety of operating systems.(Windows/Linux/Solaris). You will be constantly analysing and tuning the system to provide an optimal environment for customers and staff.
As a secondary part of the role you will be asked to create ad-hoc queries for end users to run so solid experience with PL/SQL is a must. Experience of Oracle Discoverer administration would also be useful.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Exposure to the following Oracle technologies would be an advantage:
RMAN/RAC/FailSafe
£30k - £40k + Bonuses + Relocation Allowance Depending On Experience
