| Direct Marketing Specialist - Gibraltar |
Our client is seeking to recruit a Direct Marketing Specialist to manage highly effective, direct marketing campaigns in line with their business targets and business strategy. The successful candidate will join a very driven Marketing team to assist with the media planning and print/broadcast strategy so that metrics relating to lead generation, sales, revenue, response rates, ROI and customer retention are delivered.
This is a key role which will within the team to ensure that the organisation achieves its business goals.
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
· A thorough understanding of the business drivers of the company and ensure that these drivers are the start/finish points for creating the most effective DM strategy
· A thorough understanding of all aspects of direct marketing and the successful application DM in a business environment. Specifically the candidate must have experience of database management, segmentation and modelling techniques, test design, and print/broadcast production processes
· Media experience in a DM environment including the optimum media channels and media mix
· Experience of day-to-day agency management and the keys to a successful agency partnership
· Organisational skills including communication skills and experience of working across organisations
· Planning skills and the ability to ensure all campaigns are executed in a timely and accurate manner and to budget.
Specific tasks include:
· Executing direct marketing campaigns to maximise uptake of policies from both new and existing customers
· Tailoring DM campaigns to policy and customer type
· Devising a media strategy to optimise sales leads in line with the overall company strategy
· Delivering campaigns and analysing their effectiveness against plan. Reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to enable ROI optimisation.
· Responding to changing market and business requirements as appropriate with the appropriate tactical initiatives
· Day to day agency management including the media buying, print and broadcast fulfilment. Participating in quarterly agency reviews. Ensuring that agencies are fully briefed on campaign targets and campaign performance.
· Tracking campaigns against budgets to ensure they are to plan.
